ATLAS (5 July – 9 August 2023) is a five-week training programme that offers young artists with first choreographic experience and mid-career artists a dynamic environment for their personal and artistic development. It aims to meet two key needs: to have a studio available for research and piece development, and to gain new input through individual workshop programmes, visits of international productions and exchanges with artists from 100 countries and within the group. Angélique Willkie, who has worked as a performer, singer and dramaturg with Alain Platel and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, among others, and who currently teaches contemporary dance at Concordia University in Montreal, will mentor the programme.

danceWEB (5 July – 9 August 2023) offers up-and-coming dancers and choreographers from all over the world five weeks of further training in contemporary dance and performance as part of ImPulsTanz every year. The project includes over 200 workshops and research projects as well as up to 100 performances, artistic mentoring from maker and performer Clara Furey and a unique platform that brings together international students, choreographers, companies, journalists, producers, teachers and visitors in Vienna.

ImPacT (9–24 July 2023) welcomes individual dance students and groups to ImPulsTanz for a fortnight – with the aim of connecting participants with the professional international dance world. In addition to workshops and performances, the academy offers talks with festival artists and networking events. The students will be accompanied by mentor Kerstin Kussmaul.
