Save the date: Work on your grant application during our writing tables in Flanders

What?

During the writing tables, we bring together artists and art workers who are applying for a grant or project subsidy within the Arts Decree on 15 September.

We also invite some experts with dossier knowledge or writing experience who can give feedback on certain parts of your dossier, think with you about articulating your plans or help with your questions about the dossier.

The writing tables do not serve to advise you on scholarships or project grants, or their preparation. During these moments, we focus on feedback and help in writing out the dossier. To take part in a writing session, you must therefore already be prepared with your dossier.

Save the date: registrations are open from 2 June.

Please note: these sessions are only for people submitting a grant file on 15 September 2025.

• To support as many participants as possible, you can only register for one writing table. Don’t worry, usually everyone gets a spot.
• Not eligible for a writing table, but in need of more info and advice on grants? Get in touch with our info and advice colleagues.
• Can’t attend anymore? Let us know in time: we could offer someone else your place.

• Writing table Antwerp: Monday 14 July in Letterenhuis, in collaboration with Cultuurloket, VI.BE and VAi
• Writing table Leuven: Wednesday 16 July, location tbc, in collaboration with Cultuurloket
• Writing table Brussels: Monday 18 August in Huis van het Nederlands, in collaboration with Cultuurloket, VI.BE and VAi
• Writing table Ghent: Wednesday 20 August in Timelab, in collaboration with Cultuurloket
