Starting 1 September 2020 Charlotte Vandevyver will succeed Theo Van Rompay, deputy director and co-founder of the P.A.R.T.S. dance academy in Brussels. Prior to this, she will be coordinating the new ‘Studios’ programme.
Vandevyver, who has been in charge of the dance program at STUK – House for Dance, Image & Sound since 2014, will implement the new two-year ‘Studios’ programme from 1 May 2019 onwards. A year and a half later she will replace Theo Van Rompay as the new deputy director of P.A.R.T.S. and lead the school together with director Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Van Rompay will no longer be involved in the daily operation of the school in order to focusing on a number of special projects until his retirement on 1 September 2021.
