What?

The project is a cultural activity, designed and developed by at least one partner from the Flemish Community and one partner from the French Community. Multiple partners from both communities are certainly possible!

This call is more specifically aimed at stimulating collaborations between cultural actors around the use of digital technology, both in the areas of creation, public participation, promotion, development of tools and/or knowledge sharing. Therefore, special attention will be paid to projects with innovative digital dimensions.

The call is nevertheless open to all types of projects in all artistic disciplines and cultural sectors, and is also open to projects without public presentations, such as projects involving (artistic) research, professional development and network projects.

For whom?

The call is open to artists and/or cultural organizations that are professionally active in the broad cultural sector. You must be located in the Dutch language area, the French language area or the bilingual Brussels-Capital area.

When?

The project will take place between September 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025.

€?

You can apply for up to 20,000 euros, but the subsidy may never exceed 60% of your budget.

Selection criteria?

The jury will take into account, among other things, the following matters in its assessment:

  • The quality and innovative nature of your project, especially regarding the use of digital technology
  • The quality of your partnership and the prominence of cultural cooperation and exchange between the two communities
  • The distribution of your project (physical and/or digital) in the two communities
  • The aspects of the project that relate to sustainability and fair practice
  • The technical and financial feasibility of your project
