Pitch your performance during Plat(e)form(e) at Kunstenfestivaldesarts
Do you have a creation planned for the 2024-2025 season and are you in search of co-producers and/or (inter)national venues? Pitch your project in front of a group of (inter)national professionals during Plat(e)form(e).
What is Plat(e)form(e)?
Plat(e)Form(e) is an annual programme aimed at international programmers during Kunstenfestivaldesarts, organised by Flanders Arts Institute in collaboration with Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse (WBTD). On 13 and 14 May, it provides a space where local artists and companies can meet and exchange ideas, encouraging collaborations and networking opportunities.
For whom?
The programme is aimed at performing artists and companies from Flanders, Brussels or Wallonia, of which 8 to 10 selected will have the chance to pitch their work-in-progress to international programmers.
Each participant without permanent contract or structural grants will receive a fee of €250 for their pitch.
What’s expected?
The selected artists and companies will be given (max.) 30 min to pitch their (ongoing) creation to a professional audience. The form of the presentation (max. 20 min) is free* to choose (on stage, projection, form of interview…) and is followed by a Q&A (max. 10 min). It is possible to present images and short videos, for on-stage presentations there is minimal technical support.
Each project must be accompanied by a producer, a production house or platform, or a co-producer or partner organization of the future creation. The preferred language of presentation is English (if presenting in English is challenging for you, please let us know).
*Flanders Arts Institute and WBTD provide support to prepare your pitch/presentation form.
