What?
Kunst in Huis is constantly looking for new artists to expand its collection. To this end, we actively scout for new, emerging talent by an external jury of experts. Artists who wish to apply for a collaboration with Kunst in Huis can participate in our Open Call. More detailed information about the application and selection procedure can be found here.
For whom?
- You live and work in Flanders or Brussels;
- You are at the beginning of an art career (i.e. you have not been working for 20 years, but are no longer a student either);
- You aspire to a professional existence in the arts and can prove it with a minimum of 3 exhibitions in relevant places;
- An art education is not a must, but an advantage.
Professional ambitions
Kunst in Huis strives to provide high quality, content that is strong and visually diverse. We are committed to the artists with whom we enter into collaborations. Therefore, we judge artists on their oeuvre: on the development that has taken place in recent years and the potential we see in someone for the future. We focus on starting careers of both young and not so young talent. We are especially looking for talent with a professional ambition in the visual arts.
