Managing rights

Artists can assert their rights, in particular copyright, neighbouring rights and resale rights.

A work is protected by copyright if it evidences originality and exists in a material form. Copyright includes moral rights and proprietary rights. To manage these latter rights, you can voluntarily join a management company that collects the income for you.

The resale right is the compensation you receive as the author of an original work of art each time your work is resold through a professional art dealer.
