Open Call 2026-2027 airWG Amsterdam
We are happy to invite international and national visual artists, performance artists and designers to apply for airWG’s three-months residency periods in Amsterdam:
- July – September 2026
- October – December 2026
- January – March 2027
- April – June 2027
Organized by the atelierWG community since 2015, airWG functions as a laboratory and platform for in-depth artistic development. The programme welcomes a broad range of art projects including interdisciplinary, curatorial and research-oriented ones. The aim is to acknowledge this diversity and encourage a creative and critical approach. It provides artists with time and space to reflect, experiment, create and share their projects.

Offered by airWG
- 70m2 studio, living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, storage space, internet, bicycle and garden
- Introductory gathering with members of the community (Meet & Greet)
- Fixed liaison to the WG community as well as the wider Amsterdam art community
- Opportunity to host an exhibition or event in puntWG
- Promotion of an exhibition or presentation via social media and other channels
- Assistance toward a public presentation
Paid by the resident
- €800 per month rent for studio and living spaces, including utilities such as electricity, heating, water, and internet
- €400 deposit to be paid one month before starting the residency
- Travel expenses
- Living expenses
- Material costs
- Visa and health and/or travel insurance
