Louis Roederer Discovery Award 2022
The Rencontres d’Arles associates the Louis Roederer Discovery Award with galleries, art centers, artist-run spaces, independent venues and institutions. Through their pioneering work, these structures are indeed often the first to support emerging artists. They can propose an exhibition project by an artist they support and whose work has been recently discovered or deserves to be by an international audience.
Accompanied by a curator, 10 projects will be shortlisted and exhibited at the next Rencontres d’Arles.
This year, the curator invited by the Louis Roederer Discovery Award 2022 is Taous R. Dahmani.
During opening week, a jury will bestow the Louis Roederer Discovery Award, which honours an artist and the structure presenting the project with an acquisition worth €15,000 and the public will give the Public Award, which consists of an acquisition worth €5,000.
