BBA Artist Prize


20+ artists selected by BBAs international Jury will exhibit in Kühlhaus Berlin, a 600 sqm venue, in Berlin in May 2024.

BBA will award 5 prizes including international exposure and cash prizes. 1st prize winner receives a solo show at BBA Gallery.

  1. Prize: 1000 € Cash, Artsy Profile, Solo Exhibition @BBA Gallery in 2025, Social Media Promotion
  2. Prize: 700 € Cash, Artsy Profile, Social Media Promotion
  3. Prize: 500 €, Artsy Profile, Social Media Promotion
  4. Prize: Audience Award; 500€, Artsy Profile

All shortlisted artists (20+) will be exhibited at Kühlhaus Berlin in the group show of the BBA Artist Prize.

Plus, every day we will feature an “Artist of the Day” in our social media stories. Our “Artist of the Week” is then featured on our social media feed and on our website.

All themes welcome – A jury votes

Visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship, subject depth, and understanding – these are just a few aspects that our jury of industry professionals will take into consideration. Whether you are a seasoned artist with an existing track-record, a promising talent starting your journey, or simply enthusiastic about art, the BBA Artist Prize 2024 is a great opportunity to show your work.

For whom?

Anyone 18+ can apply – all genders and nationalities welcome

No restrictions on experience or social / educational background.

Submit up to 5 artworks – this entitles you to be eligible for the long and shortlist and show your art at our exclusive exhibition in Berlin.

How to apply?

Artist Prize 2024 entrance fee: €39.00

The following information will be requested once you have paid the application fee:

  • Name, address, contact information, website, social media when possible
  • Artist Statement (300 words max.)
  • CV + Exhibitions List / Previous work (performing arts)
  • Artwork information (Title, medium, size, year of creation, edition ) + length of the piece (for performing arts)
  • 5 artworks (max. 5 jpg or png files of your works, up to 2 MB per file) or URL links of your work. All files must be titled

You can upload your application at any time before the deadline 19th February 2024, midnight CET. The application link will be sent by email.
