Rawabet Festival

05-07 Nov 2026
Festival ・ Brussels
Meet artists during this festival organised by Ettijahat - Independent Culture

From 5–7 November 2026, Rawabet Festival will take over Brussels for three days of live performance, music, multimedia, and conversation.

More than a festival, Rawabet is a space for encounter and exchange — creating new connections across artistic practices, cultures, and borders.

Organised by Ettijahat – Independent Culture, a Brussels–Beirut-based cultural organisation, the festival marks the culmination of a three-year programme running from 2024 to 2026, developed in partnership with cultural organisations across Europe.

Rawabet, meaning “links” in Arabic, is co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme. The initiative supports artists who have relocated to Europe since 2015, working across the performing arts, music, and multidisciplinary practices.

Through production grants, residencies, and circulation platforms, Rawabet supports artistic development, transnational collaboration, and greater visibility for artists and their work.
