Meet the artists: emerging photography from Belgium and Luxembourg
For several years, Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg, Flanders Arts Institute, Wallonie-Bruxelles International and the Visual Arts Department of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles have supported initiatives aimed at highlighting photographic voices in Arles during the Rencontres de la Photographie.
This year, the four partners join forces once again to organise a meeting dedicated to the work of twelve photographers, selected by six institutions: Café-crème / EMOP Luxembourg (Luxembourg), the Centre national de l’Audiovisuel (CNA) (Dudelange), mentormentor (Ghent), The Constant Now (Antwerp), the Biennale de l’Image possible / BIP (Liège) and Contretype (Brussels).
The invited photographers are Charbel Al Khoury, Annick Donkers, Barbara Salomé Felgenhauer, Yaqine Hamzawi, Liz Lambert, Lucas Leffler, Birgit Ludwig, Tom Lyon, Herlinde Raeman, Marc Schroeder, Laurent Sturm, Oriane Thomasson.

This event is aimed at professionals and offers an opportunity to discover the photographers’ unique worlds, and to explore the approaches that shape their photographic practice.

Tuesday 7 July from 10am until 1pm in Palais de Luppé (24 bis Rond-Point des Arènes, 13200 Arles).
