Visitors programme Raphael Fonseca, São Paulo Biennale 2027
Flanders Arts Institute has invited Raphael Fonseca, co-chief curator of the 37th edition of the São Paulo Biennial, to visit our country from 5 to 9 October. During this visitor programme, we will introduce him to the Belgian art scene through site visits and meetings with artists.
Biography
Raphael Fonseca was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a curator of visual arts at Culturgest in Portugal. Fonseca is co-chief curator of the 37th São Paulo Biennial in Brazil and co-chief curator of XIII Sequences, a visual arts festival in Reykjavik, Iceland. Both events are due to take place in 2027.
