From Wednesday 16 until Saturday 19 May, Flanders Arts Institute will be present at the international music fair Classical:NEXT in Rotterdam. After previous editions in Munich (2012), Vienna (2013 & 2014) and Rotterdam (2015, 2016 & 2017), Classical:NEXT has grown into a valued and interesting event that brings together all important actors from the classical music sector.
Showcase by FUNDAMENT
FUNDAMENT, the project by Peter Jacquemyn, is selected for the showcase programme. Experience this “small army of bass instruments” with five double-bass players, seven low brass including a tubax and low-register voices for good measure. FUNDAMENT is all acoustic, shaking and rattling and growling without amplification.
