What?

On April 20th 2024, Par Hasard will take place in the St Peter’s Abbey in Ghent. Together with Historische Huizen, we invite you to nose into artists’ cooking pots.
Through this open call, we would like to invite makers, performers, musicians, poets, dancers… to apply to participate in this Par Hasard. The aim is to give you the chance to show your work-in-progress in a simple, clear and appropriate context. You can present your work-in-progress to a wide audience in order to take the next step in the creation process.

For whom?

  • You have a degree in the arts or relevant experience in the arts sector
  • you share a work-in-progress or an experiment (max 15min)
  • your work is suitable for the location (very limited technical resources)
  • your work-in-progress should have a performative character
  • a link with the location is an added value, but not a must

Important:

  • Travel expenses from countries outside Belgium cannot be reimbursed.
  • Focus on performing arts

How to participate?

Send your CV, brief explanation of the project (max 500 words) and your motivation (max 500 words/or in the form of a video of max 3 minutes) to info@parhasardcollectief.be. The open call closes on 31 January.
