Flanders Arts Institute is looking for images of the arts sector

Call
Flanders Arts Institute

Flanders Arts Institute is launching a call for relevant and representative images of the arts sector. These images should reflect the current cultural landscape whilst also giving visibility to diverse stakeholders within the sector.

Anyone who feels called upon to contribute to representative visual communication is welcome to take part: from amateur photographers to professionals or arts organisations.

We ask that you submit a maximum of three images related to one of our disciplines:

  • Visual Arts
  • Classical music
  • Performing Arts

The images may include both artistic works and performances, as well as behind the scenes images.

By taking part

  • your images will be shared with the Flanders Arts Institute audience, including artists, professionals and organisations
  • you will receive a one-off payment of €50 if we use one of your images (in which case we will always contact you first).

Practical

  • Format: .jpg only
  • Resolution: high enough for online use
  • Copyright: we always credit the photographer and, where possible, provide full credits. Please only submit images that we are permitted to use without seeking permission.

We save the images with the following filename: ‘Organisation, Title, Artist(s), Photographer’. You may create the filename yourself or send us a clear list with the correct credits for each photo.

On social media, we always tag the organisation, artists, photographer, etc.

Please submit your photos before the deadline: 30 June 2026.

Email your images to our colleague Angus.
