Open call – What the Drag?! performers

Call
Dwaalzin

What the Drag?! is a volunteer-led project from Dwaalzin that creates a platform for emerging drag performers and queer voices. We aim to give beginning drag artists the space to experiment, perform, and connect with others, while introducing drag as an art form to a wider audience in an accessible and welcoming way.

What the Drag?! takes place during Blikkenwerpers, a participatory art project where young creators present work around a central theme. This year’s theme is “time” (What about time?). To have an idea of the project, you can find the aftermovie of the latest edition in Ghent here.

  • Location: Villa Canapé (Laeken, Brussels)
