NAIR urban space installation residency
Open call! The NAIR urban space installation residency in Narva is back. In 2026, we will create a light installation on the edge of the city, in the Pähklimäe neighbourhood.
- Residency period at NART: 10.08.2026–09.10.2026
- Stipend: €3,000
- Production budget for the installation: €11,000
- Travel costs for the artist are reimbursed up to €1,000
We are inviting artists, architects, designers, and other creative practitioners from Estonia and abroad, working in both individual and collaborative practices across visual, spatial, and interdisciplinary fields, to apply. The installation is expected to explore the use of light in its various forms, including reflections of daylight, nighttime lighting solutions, and the presentation of light itself through color. Applicants are required to submit a project proposal for a spatial installation or sculpture.

The project is supported by the City of Narva, the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, and the Ministry of Culture of Estonia.
