Bezoekersprogramma beeldende kunst Nora Razian (curator Sursock Museum in Beiroet)
Van 15 tot 17 mei 2017 komt curator Nora Razian naar België in het kader van het bezoekersprogramma beeldende kunst van Kunstenpunt. Ze krijgt een programma op maat aangeboden met ontmoetingen met kunstenaars en organisaties beeldende kunst.
Nora Razian is Head of Programs and Exhibitions bij het Sorsock Museum in Beiroet, waar ze de tijdelijke tentoonstellingen, de publieke programma’s en het filmprogramma cureert, en waar ze samenwerkingen met andere kunstorganisaties initieert. Vooraleer ze bij het museum aan de slag ging in 2015 was ze curator van de publieke programma’s bij Tate Modern en Tate Britain (2009-20015). Recente tentoonstellingen zijn onder meer Maha Maamoun: The Law of Existence (2017), Let’s Talk About the Weather: Art and Ecology in a Time of Crisis (2016), and Ali Cherri: A Taxonomy of Fallacies (2016).
Over Nora Razian
Nora Razian is the Head of Programs and Exhibitions at the Sorsock Museum in Beirut, where she curates the museum’s temporary exhibitions, public programs and film programme, and initiates collaborations with other arts organizations. Before joining the Museum in 2015, she was curator of public programmes at Tate Modern and Tate Britain.
She has also taught at Goldsmiths’ College Centre for Arts and Learning. Recent exhibitions include Maha Maamoun: The Law of Existence (2017), Let’s Talk About the Weather: Art and Ecology in a Time of Crisis (2016), and Ali Cherri: A Taxonomy of Fallacies (2016).
