Effel Quartet and Naka Quartet are the new Supernovas 2026

Which ensembles are shaping the future of classical music? How do young musicians link tradition to innovation? Every year, Flanders Arts Institute joins forces with Klarafestival and other programmers from the world of classical music to seek out unique and promising chamber music ensembles. The two laureates win a concert tour through Belgium, with Klarafestival as the first stop.

Of the four ensembles, the jury selected Effel Quartet and Naka Quartet as the two laureates of Supernova 2026. Trio DEA received the €1,000 Supernova National Lottery Audience Award.
