Sector day performing arts – Sustaining futures
Flanders Arts Institute and het TheaterFestival are launching a second edition of the Sector Day.
This year, with a focus on the upcoming structural subsidy round, we are highlighting inspiring practices and methodologies that can strengthen the future of our arts landscape. Good practices that can contribute something transversal to the performing arts sector.
Together with the sector, we looked for inspiring or leading practices that fall within one or more of the five functions (development, production, presentation, participation and reflection, education) of the Arts Decree. Practices that can inspire and grow into a sector-wide approach towards transitioning our landscape in a sustainable way by 2035.
Together with the invited practices, we will offer a programme full of workshops, think tanks, and knowledge sharing. Let’s have a day of inspiring imagination together!
Where and when?
9 September from 10.30am to 5pm in Tinnenpot, in Ghent.
Following the sector day, we will award the sector prizes at 6pm in NTGent: be welcome!
