Le Totem presents this summer the work of four Dutch-language playwrights at the Avignon festival.

This summer, le Totem presents the work of four Dutch-language playwrights at the Avignon festival. Besides a text by Flemish theatre collective Compagnie barbarie, texts by playwrights Jan Sobrie and Raven Ruëll will also be presented. Dutch authors Joachim Robbrecht and George Elias Tobal were also selected with their new work.

This performance is part of the promotion project ‘Ivre de Mots’ by Fonds Podiumkunsten, Flanders Arts Institute and Literatuur Vlaanderen to give theatre texts from the Low Countries more visibility in France. In France, we collaborate with Maison Antoine Vitez and the Flemish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
